i am actually trying to build a computational simulation module for neurons that will explain the effect of mechanical stress experienced by them at different physiological conditions . Actin remodeling in neurons is a process that creates stress but i have a few doubts about neurons and will be grateful to you if you can provide me with some tips :

1. Do neurons have a mechanosensing activity which is triggered by integrin proteins ????

2. any neurodegenerative diseases related to mechanical stress on neurons
